Yoshizawa / Romy Taylor
24th July 2024 - 7:30 pm
Oporto

Yoshizawa is an eerie prog band led by Amelie Yoshizawa, that strive to create film like musical landscapes that connect and communicate to audiences. Having played at the royal Albert hall in London with an orchestra and around the North, they strive to create a new conversation within music to a range of music enjoyers, to express without words and to create a conversation for the working class again.

Romy Taylor is a 20 year old singer-songwriter and performer who grew up in the south of Spain. With a mix of influences like Daniel Caesar, Eloise and Minnie Riperton, she combines an atmospheric floaty-feel with catchy sing-along melodies. She writes her lyrics for the girlies who intellectualise their emotions. Alongside her Leeds-based band, Romy is now composing new music with a jazz and neo-soul feel as well as incorporating her Spanish influence, creating a unique and captivating sound.
