THE BUFFALO SKINNERS

The Buffalo Skinners began life as a busking band in 2010, channelling old folk & skiffle heroes to appreciative ears in northern coastal towns. Four years together now finds them leaning towards a fuller electric sound borrowing from 60’s rock & roll, British invasion bands & still, from their first love, folk.

Last year they recorded their yet to be released second album ‘The other nine to five’ in Los Angeles & performed at Hollywood's most exciting venues including; ‘Hotel Cafe,’ ‘The Spare Room’ at The Roosevelt Hotel, ‘Harvard & Stone’ & ‘The Satellite.’

The band are now back together to play UK festivals & a 10 date tour of England with best of friends 'Holy Moly & the Crackers' to promote their new record.

"Fantastic." Bob Harris - BBC Radio 2

"I love The Buffalo Skinners, everything they do is energetic, warm and makes you want to dance and sing and drink and smile." Mike Garry - Poet

"Jolly exciting!" Cerys Matthews, BBC 6 Music

“Buskers made good!” Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 1

"A mature well considered collection of songs *****"
- Rhubarb Bomb (1st Album)

"If you haven't heard about these guys, you soon will have. Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal." - Jericho Keys, BBC Introducing

HOLY MOLY AND THE CRACKERS

Holy Moly and the Crackers are influenced by an eclectic range of styles and artists; the honest grit and gravel of Woody Guthrie, the gypsy bone-cage burlesque of Gogol Bordello, the spectral clarity of Joni Mitchell. As such they play a lively, moonshine mix of Romani, Americana and contemporary British folk-rock.

'a “re-imagining” of three traditional folk/blues songs that evokes eras of whiskey and guns on modern punk folk steroids.' Cover Lay Down

BOSS CAINE

Boss Caine (AKA Daniel Lucas) is a regular at Oporto's Monday night Gaslight Club often compared to Tom Waits and Ryan Adams - in fact there are some quotes about him that save me the trouble of telling you;

"Tom Waits singing Ryan Adams if they had both had the good fortune to grow up in Yorkshire" -The Fly

and another...

"...the best album Tom Waits, Ryan Adams & Johnny Cash ever didn't make, a little 'Unplugged'- era Nirvana too, Post punk-post-grunge-country music. GT writes better lyrics than most anybody I know, and sings 'em in a voice that makes Louie Armstrong's sound kinda girly" - Folkslut Magazine

Bob Harris is also a big fan of him!

JUST LOOK HOW MANY EXCLAMATION MARKS HE USED TO DESCRIBE HIM!!

"Stunning UK talent!!...Really Something!!" - Bob Harris
