FRANK Founded in the early months of 2018 and the brain child of front woman Lilly Fontaine, FRANK is a ‘’Fuzzy, dreamy’’ psychedelic/alt rock powerhouse. FRANK’s sound combines Phat-Fuzz guitars, Lush synths and Lilly’s powerful, witty lyrics. FRANKS debut EP, recorded on typically LoFi reel to reel tape, is set for release on 07/02/2019 across all streaming platforms.
Sunflower Thieves: The ‘’Soulful Sisterhood’’ known as Sunflower Thieves have been making a lot of movement since their debut EP ‘Hold the Storm’ was released back in February 2017. The Leeds-based pop-folk duo has played numerous gigs in the city as well as showcasing their talent across the country and abroad. The Thieves pride themselves on providing songs full of heartfelt storytelling using ‘’rich harmonies and honest lyrics to sooth the mind’’, as part of their personal and intimate gigs, whether that be as a duo or full band. September 2018 saw the release of a new track and the return of their unique sound; ‘Two Halves’ described as the ‘’Soundtrack to your autumn days’’ and the title for their 2018/2019 tour across the midlands, with the HEaRd date on the roster.
Tamzene: From the coastal town of Cromarty in the Scottish highlands come the soulful sounds of multi-instrumentalist and talented singer-songwriter Tamzene. Her debut track ‘’lullaby’’ released in 2017 quickly caught the attention of a range of radio stations and media channels, both national and international, showing a promising start. Her pop/R&B/soul style claims influences from a range of artists such as Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Solange and Birdy. She has worked with some top industry professionals like Joe McAlinder and David Donaldson, and had her track ‘Count Your Days’ named as BBC Radio Scotland’s single of the week. Her huge Talent and impressive track record show us that there are no signs of slowing down for Tamzene.
