Communion is back in Leeds 15th October, this time in Holy Trinity Church! We are very excited that this month we have live sets from

PAUL THOMAS SAUNDERS - With influences such as Joe Meek and Leonard Cohen, Paul Thomas Saunders encapsulates both the psychedelic soundscape and intellectual sentimentality that the sixties graced us with, then wraps it up in a spiraling contemporary shell.

THE TRAVELLING BAND - Finding themselves championed by 6 Music’s Marc Riley and the Eavis family even before self-releasing debut album ‘Under the Pavement’ in late 2008, quickly established Manchester outfit The Travelling Band as ones to watch very closely. Over five years and 400+ shows since their formation, the band have garnered an enviable reputation as one of the U.K’s tightest live acts and hardest working bands.

LAURA GROVES – Formerly of Blue Roses, Laura Groves has smashed it with her new single Follow Me. The vocals leave an impression on the listener and the track is a soft synth haven. This will be perfect in the beautiful Holy Trinity Church.

JAKE MORLEY is a remarkable guitar player and singer-songwriter. He plays guitar across his lap and slaps, taps, plucks and picks the instrument to produce a sound like no-one else. His instrumental skill is combined with masterly writing, crafting songs that are memorable. Jake’s 2012 debut album, Many Fish To Fry, received glowing press reviews plus support from Radio 2, 6 Music and over 40 regional radio stations and in the past year, he’s toured the UK, Ireland, France and Canada as well as playing numerous festivals.

Coasts, Session DJs and Dead Young DJs will be playing the best indie / electro / party at the after party
