Cara Hammond is raising money for Martin House Hospice as part of their annual Centre Stage Competition! Martin House is a charity that provides families with disabled children a relaxing haven.
Centre Stage is a competition whereby the winner has the opportunity to perform at Leeds and Reading festival 2016! This event is acting as a musical fundraiser and we've got a fantastic line up of music!

CARA is a singer/songwriter originally from North Wales but now based in Leeds. Her songs offer an eclectic mix of pop, soul and folk. She has performed a number of gigs around the UK and her new EP 'Leaves' has gained airplay on BBC Radio Leeds Introducing, with her previous EP being played on BBC Radio Wales Introducing. She has also performed live on BBC Radio Leeds. Back in 2011 CARA supported Charlotte Church for the Llangollen Fringe Festival, followed by a second time at Focus Wales 2012. She is due to release a new EP!

Caitlin Stubbs is a singer/songwriter originally from Brighton, England but who is now living in Leeds. Her songs inhabit a crossroads between the ethereal storytelling of folk/blues and the introspective side of pop. She takes great inspiration from the anti-war, often satirical songs and poems of her poet/playwright grandfather, the late Adrian Mitchell. Caitlin has supported prestigious folk artists such as Marika Hackman, Sarah Lee Guthrie (granddaughter of Woody Guthrie) and Julie Felix (“Britain’s first lady of folk” – The Times).

Eliivia is a brand new jazz / pop fusion band based in Leeds aiming to create imaginative songs with their fun approach to songwriting. Each band member has had an eclectic performance background from radio to the the Royal Albert Hall and the group have just begun gigging their original music made up of playful vocals, sassy solos and hip-hop influenced beats!
