Allora
This is ALLORA, a harmonic rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire. A powerhouse of a band with slick riffs and epic harmonies stemming from its triad of lead singers. Their music has been described as ‘deceptively simple and yet complex and richly layered’ adorned with vocals that ‘are powerful, scarily powerful’ and built upon with ‘deft composition that beguiles their young age’
Selling out a headline show at the iconic venue ‘The Wardrobe’ in the depths of the Pandemic, ALLORA have been given a new lease of life. They are set to take back the stage this November with support from the brilliant ‘The Sound of Modesty’. Live they entrap and entrance you with their siren call, then they melt your face with intricate, powerful riffs. It is ‘always a thrilling and yet deeply calming experience’ witnessing ALLORA live with harmonies so rich and rhythms so sweet, they could be your new favourite band. For this group, an exciting future is well within grasp, it is only a matter of time.’

Japanese Raccoon Dog

Japanese Raccoon Dog is a 5-piece math rock band based in Leeds, UK. The band consists of India-Rose Barlow (Vocals), Aaron Evans (Bass), Ewen Koranteng (Drums), Tom Bowden (Guitar) and Max Gower (Guitar). The band formed back in September of 2019 after meeting at University (Leeds Conservatoire)- through shared musical interests, similar artistic influences, and a mutual love for raccoons. Some of the band’s main influences include the likes of: Delta Sleep, Covet, Intervals and Standards. In the close to two years that the band have been together they have gained a vast repertoire of original material, ranging from emotional hard hitters to more delicate and stripped back tunes. Their sound utilises technical rhythmic elements such as time signature changes and shifts in tempo while still appealing to the average listener. Their combination of twinkly guitar riffs with haunting yet harmonious vocal melodies further add to this appeal and helps to create the ‘Japanese Raccoon Dog sound’.’
